This webinar will focus on PASRR implementation challenges occasionally encountered by state PASRR program staff and the resources available to address the issues. Participants will:
• Understand the foundational expectations for preadmission screening and resident review (PASRR) programs.
• Hear about the six PASRR challenges:
a. categorical determinations,
b. children in nursing facilities,
c. private pay,
d. out of state placements,
e. dementia, and;
f. documentation needed to establish intellectual disability diagnosis.
• Learn about available resources that offer guidance about the issues.
