The PASRR Technical Assistance Center helps states fulfill the goals of Preadmission Screening and Resident Review

Money Follows the Person (MFP) Technical Assistance

The Money Follows the Person (MFP) Rebalancing Demonstration is part of a comprehensive, coordinated strategy to assist States, in collaboration with stakeholders, to make widespread changes to their long-term care support systems.  The MFP Demonstration Program, authorized in section 6071 of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, reflects the growing principle that long-term supports should shift from institutionally-based and provider-driven to “person-centered” consumer directed and community based. With the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010, the MFP demonstration program was extended through September 30, 2016.

The MFP TA site, hosted by New Editions Consulting, provides a list of state grantees and their contact information, MFP success stories, further information about the grant, and links to other resources around the web.
