This webinar will provide an overview of telehealth and the PASRR program and discusses the potential applications of telehealth to address barriers in PASRR. Although telehealth offers the opportunity to improve program efficiency and effectiveness, PASRR authorities must balance state-specific barriers, available resources, operational considerations, regulatory requirements, clinical quality, and budgetary limitations.
Andrea Womack, M.A, has over 12 years of experience in PASRR program design, implementation, operations, and quality measurement. She is currently Director of Operations for Ascend, A MAXIMUS Company, a PASRR vendor for ten states. In her current position, Andrea oversees implementation and daily operations for multiple PASRR state projects, helping states to achieve PASRR compliance and implement practices that make a difference for individuals with disabilities. In previous roles with Ascend, Ms. Womack had oversight of contract and regulatory compliance, recruiting and credentialing of PASRR assessors, assessment processes, and internal and external training. Ms. Womack has designed and implemented quality protocols for multiple states to ensure compliance with state and federal PASRR requirements, clinical integrity, and person-centered assessments. Ms. Womack has also developed and delivered PASRR training for assessors, providers, clinical and quality reviewers. Previously, Ms. Womack worked in community mental health case management. Ms. Womack holds a master’s degree in Social Science from the University of Chicago. Andrea also serves as a consultant for the PASRR Technical Assistance Center and is Board Chair for the National Association of PASRR Professionals.
