Objectives - After attending this program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the imperative for addressing the mental health needs of older adults
  • Identify ways that states and localities can work together to better address the needs of older adults with mental illness
  • Explain the important role of state and local agencies in coordinating care for older adults with mental illness, who often have complex needs
